Le Franschhoek Restaurant Dining

Le Verger is a unique, buffet-style restaurant. This five star establishment, which is part of Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa, is just another reason why Franschhoek is seen as South Africa's gastronomic capital.

The restaurant is set within an orchard, surrounded by decades old apple, lemon, pear and plum trees, and prides itself in being able to offer its guests a different and unforgettable experience. Several of the tables are located in their own glass-framed conservatories, situated among the orchard with a larger conservatory presiding over them.

A number of chef-stations around the restaurant, varying from a pastry section to a wood-fired baking oven, serve the guests. Open for lunches and dinners, the restaurant also features a fine foods deli offering a variety of piquant treats including terrines, pâtés, various breads and oils. The products are either imported from France or made at Le Franschhoek.

An in-house dining room is also available which caters for up to 80 guests and offers spectacular views of the mountains.
